What kind of cardboard can I recycle? FlatCardboard.com

We are approaching the holiday season, and with that means more online shopping and more cardboard to recycle. The simple rules are as follows: Break it down. Flatten it out. Fit it inside your cart.

1. You can break down your cardboard boxes by tearing or cutting along the seams of the box, or just folding it.
2. Your cardboard MUST be flat to be recycled.
3. Cardboard, like other recyclables, must be able to fit inside your recycling cart to be picked up.

You should never stuff your cart to the point of overflowing, that is why it is important to follow these steps.

If you are a Pulaski County resident and you have an excess of cardboard that won’t fit into your recycling cart, you can take the material to Natural State Recycling at 4501 Thibault Road, Little Rock, AR, Monday-Friday from 7am-4pm.

Remember, the following items DO belong in your recycling cart:
– Cardboard boxes
– Paper
– Empty cartons
– Newspaper and paperboard
– Junk mail
– Plastic bottles and jugs (empty)
– Aluminum, steel, and tin cans (empty)

Thank you for Recycling Right!
