PAINT

Paint is not accepted for recycling. For proper disposal, paint must be hardened by adding sand, sawdust, or cat litter. When the contents are completely dry, leave the lid off and put the dried can of paint and lid separately in the regular garbage cart.

Call Habitat for Humanity at (501) 771-9494 for current guidelines for accepting full cans of paint for re-use.

WALGREENS: some locations now have safe kiosks for proper disposal of old or unused over-the-counter (OTC) and prescription drugs. Check with your local WALGREENS in Pulaski County.
