Make Your Vote Count, and Count Yourself!

In turbulent times, whether social, medical, cultural, political or environmental, one of the most important things you can do is make sure you are registered to vote, and then actually vote. It’s like knowing what materials are recyclable and then recycling them. To participate, action is required.

Important, too, is participating in the 2020 census. Your vote should be counted and so should you (my2020census.com).

Please remember that in order to register to vote you must be a citizen of the U.S., live in Arkansas at the address on your voter registration application, and turn 18 before Tuesday, November 3. You can vote absentee, vote early, or vote on election day. The last day to register to vote is Monday, October 5. Early voting begins Monday, October 19. The last day to request an absentee ballot is Tuesday, October 27 (go ahead and request a form today and simply check “I will be unavoidably absent from my polling place on Election Day”). The last day to transfer a voter registration address is Friday, October 30. Early voting ends Monday, November 2, and General Election in-person voting day is Tuesday, November 3. For more information about voter registration, absentee voting, early voting, and to check your polling location, call the Pulaski County Clerk’s office at 501-340-8500, or go to PulaskiClerk.com.
