Leftovers from Spring Cleaning!

Closets, storage rooms, under the kitchen cabinet, that corner in the garage – all of these places have stuff that needs to be cleaned out. After all, it’s time for Spring Cleaning.

The Regional Recycling District in Pulaski County can help by providing you with five Green Stations located around the county. At a Green Station, you can drop off household hazardous waste, like pesticides, herbicides, and old fertilizer, all in their original packages. Plus, you can drop off used motor oil, gasoline, and antifreeze. Green Stations also accept old and obsolete electronics like computers, TVs, DVDs, copiers, printers, and cell phones and tablets. Don’t forget, Green Stations are now a place where you can bring any color glass bottles and jars (no lids) and plastic grocery bags for recycling, because they should never go in your curbside recycling cart.
