Glass Recycling News

Recycling in North Little Rock and Sherwood is now even better! For residents of North Little Rock and Sherwood only, glass food and beverage containers will now be accepted in your curbside recycling cart. And for these items to be recycled properly, please make sure the clear, brown or green glass bottles and jars are empty. You might even quickly rinse out the containers if there is food residue, before putting them in your cart.

But remember, this service is for North Little Rock and Sherwood residents only.

Folks who live in Little Rock, Maumelle and the unincorporated areas of the county still must keep glass out of their curbside recycling carts. For residents of Jacksonville, glass may be dropped off at the Jacksonville Green Station. Available for everyone throughout the county are our five Green Stations where glass, old electronics, household hazardous waste, and plastic grocery bags may still be dropped off, just as before. For more information on glass, and for the locations, days and hours of operation of county-wide Green Stations, go to MyDoRight.com.
