Pop-up Electronic and Glass Recycling Event at Jefferson Elementary

Jefferson Elementary for Cammack Village and Kingwood residents! Saturday, December 2nd 8am-12pm

Regional Recycling & Waste Reduction District will have pop-up electronic and glass recycling events throughout Pulaski County. Our goal is to have these events in under-served areas in the county. We want to provide a convenient way for residential customers to recycle glass and electronics. This would give Pulaski County residents, who are not close to any Green Stations, an opportunity to do recycling right.

The focus of the pop-up events is for computers, laptops, desktops, and tablets. Computers, computer monitors, and peripherals can contain lead, mercury, and cadmium. The objective of this project is to aid in the elimination of electronic toxic waste from the waste stream and, ultimately, from area landfills.

Our first test event will be for Cammack Village and Kingwood residents on Saturday, December 2nd, 8am-12pm.
