Great Options for Recycling

The Regional Recycling District believes residential customers should have as many recycling options as possible. Part of the District’s responsibility is to help make recycling understandable, convenient, affordable, and effective. That’s why we facilitate the curbside pick-up contract with the cities, Pulaski County and Waste Management. It’s also why we work with Natural State Recycling and eSCO Processing and Recycling on electronic waste. And it’s why we operate five Green Stations around the county to recycle the electronics, glass, plastic grocery bags, and household hazardous waste dropped off at these locations by Pulaski County residents.

In addition, we believe the recycling mission can include, where appropriate, other private businesses to make recycling work, and help create private-sector jobs. One such private entity is TerraCycle. TerraCycle offers free recycling programs funded by brands, manufacturers, and retailers around the world to help you collect and recycle hard-to-recycle waste. Their various platforms can be found through #RecycleEverything, as well as Loop, at LoopStore.com. For more information on how TerraCycle works, go to TerraCycle.com.
