Most Common Contaminants In Your Cart: Electronics

Electronic waste – broken or obsolete computers, monitors, TVs, printers, copiers, FAX machines, and the like – should never be put in your recycling cart. Many of these electronic items contain hazardous wastes like lead and mercury and should not end up in a landfill. So, to help you properly dispose of old computers and TVs and other items cluttering the closet or garage, the Regional Recycling District is conducting a FREE, two-day drop-off event on Tuesday, March 29, and Wednesday, March 30, from 7 a.m.-2 p.m. Pulaski County residents and businesses can bring electronics to the Simmons Bank Arena parking lot on East Washington Ave. in North Little Rock. Bring your old electronics and we will unload them and recycle them for FREE. For more information, go to RecyclingUnplugged.com.
