“Reuse” is Good Use!

This month we have been sharing some fun ideas on reusing single-use items like plastic bottles. We’ll cover cardboard, too, beginning next week. Reuse is a sustainability strategy. It means taking products that would otherwise be discarded and using them again in their current form, or with some creative changes. Before tossing it, think outside the cart. Can the item be used for something else? Can you create something brand new from an item that has served its original purpose? Reuse decreases waste and increases resources. Remember, reuse saves money, creates less waste, causes less pollution, and helps sustain our shared environment. So, think outside the cart!
