Recycling Glass
Empty glass bottles and jars are recyclable. But they don’t go in your curbside cart. Why? Because glass breaks and can contaminate paper, plastic and metal cans. These items need to be as free from other materials as possible to be marketable to re-manufacturers.
Since glass-collection policies throughout Pulaski County for residential customers continue to change, always remember you can take recyclable glass to one of five Green Stations around the county. These drop-off collection stations accept glass, along with electronic waste (computers, printers, game stations, TVs, etc.), and household hazardous chemicals. For more information on the location and days and times that the Green Stations are open, go to MyDoRight.com.
