Growing Out of the Virus
Our economy will eventually grow out of the steep downturn in employment, paychecks, and spending at retailers, restaurants, and entertainment. But only if we grow out of the virus. But how?
Well, it’s up to each of us to help all of us. When you wear a facemask, you’re not only doing it for you, you’re doing it to protect others. The same is true for physical distancing. And to add a layer of personal protection, use hand sanitizer and wash hands frequently. You can also help the manufacturing and the supply chain economy by continuing to recycle, and even increasing your recycling habits. Paper, empty plastic bottles and jugs, cardboard, and empty metal cans are all basic recycling items that should fill your curbside recycling cart every other week. So, do your part to keep others safe, staying safe yourself, and contributing to the economy. Be smart. Be safe. Wear a facemask.
