Every Day in May
Recycling is an everyday practice. And practice makes perfect or, at least, progress. Every day we use products and packaging that are recyclable. So, whether it’s plastic bottles and jugs, loose paper, cardboard, or aluminum, steel, or tin cans, set them aside for your curbside recycling cart. Remember, bottles and jugs and all cans need to be emptied before they go in the cart. And always break down cardboard boxes and packages so they fit inside your cart. When it comes to plastic, we’ll be a little more specific on Thursday and next Monday, so look for that. But to begin practicing everyday recycling, put the right stuff in your curbside recycling cart, and for glass, electronics, plastic garbage bags, and household hazardous waste, drop them off at our Green Stations.
