To-Go Cups Are In
The day has finally come. All you coffee fanatics. Tea lovers. Soda drinkers. Slushie sippers. Those plastic and paper to-go cups that hold your delicious drinks are now recyclable! That means when you pick up food and drinks from your favorite restaurant, you can now recycle the plastic clamshell containers annnndddd your empty to-go cups. If you get hot drinks that come with a heat sleeve, good news, that is also recyclable! Just make sure, before placing your to-go cups in the curbside recycling cart, that you remove the lid and straw first. Those go in the trash.
Slowly, we are working towards a more sustainable community by expanding what is accepted at our recycling plants. We are so excited to keep growing our recycling efforts and have all of you join us for the journey.
