The District’s Green Stations can help you do recycling right
Electronics need to be recycled. And household hazardous waste should always be properly disposed of. That’s why the Regional Recycling District offers convenient Green Stations to drop off these items so they can either be recycled or otherwise safely eliminated from the environment. Our objective is two-fold: To encourage and facilitate effective and efficient recycling of paper, cardboard, plastic bottles and jugs, metal cans, old electronics, and glass. And to help protect the public safety, not only through recycling, but also by informing and educating residential customers on how to handle disposable waste, some of which may contain hazardous chemicals or toxic waste.
The District’s Green Stations can help you do recycling right. And do it Monday-Saturday. For the locations of our five Green Stations and the different days and times of operation, go to MyDoRight.com. There, you’ll also learn what goes in your curbside recycling cart – only what goes in the cart.
