GREEN STATION RECYCLING DROP-OFF CENTERS

 

   

Green Stations are collection sites for residential household electronics, household hazardous waste, and empty glass bottles and jars.

 

The Regional Recycling District operates five Green Station drop-off collection centers in Pulaski County for special recyclables, including old electronics, glass, plastic grocery bags, household hazardous waste, and household batteries. The Green Stations are in Little Rock, North Little Rock, Sherwood, Maumelle, and Jacksonville.

GREEN STATIONS ACCEPT THE FOLLOWING ITEMS FROM RESIDENTIAL CUSTOMERS ONLY

Household Hazardous Waste:

Insecticides

Pesticides

Used antifreeze

Used gasoline

Used motor oil

Other Accepted Items:

Plastic grocery bags

Empty glass bottles and jars

Empty aerosol cans

Fluorescent bulbs (4-feet in length or less)

Compact fluorescent bulbs (CFLs)

Household batteries (AA, AAA, C, D, 9-volt, no rechargeable batteries)

Electronics (E-Waste):

Computers and accessories

Laptops

Servers

Keyboards and mice

Hard drives (all hard drives will be securely destroyed)

Wires and cables

Mobile/smart phones and landline telephones

PDAs

Two-way radios

GREEN STATIONS DO NOT ACCEPT THE FOLLOWING ITEMS

(No Items from Businesses Accepted)

Prohibited Items: No ammunition, explosives, fuel tanks, paint, tires , plastics, metals, household garbage or trash

(For paint, we recommend contacting Habitat for Humanity, otherwise the contents must be dry and hard. We recommend using cat litter, sawdust, or sand to help dry-up paint. After it is completely dry, place in household garbage with the lid off. For tires, we recommend contacting Davis Rubber Company Inc., at (501) 374-1473 for tire recycling information.)

 

AFTER-HOURS DUMPING IS ILLEGAL!
VIOLATORS WILL BE PROSECUTED.

 

 

The Green Station drop-off services are ONLY FOR RESIDENTIAL HOUSEHOLDS LOCATED IN PULASKI COUNTY. Items from businesses are not accepted.
