Leave Hazardous Waste Out of Your Cart
Reducing contamination in recycling carts is one of our main objectives. The more we receive non-contaminated items at our Green Stations, the more we are able to reduce, reuse, recycle. To recycle at the highest level , there are a few items that should never go near your recycling cart. The items listed below contain hazardous chemicals that will not only contaminate your entire cart, but they also pose a threat to the public health and the environment if not disposed of properly. But not to worry, all items listed below can be taken to your local Green Station. If you
have any of these items at your house, please place them in a bin and head to your Green Station! (Locations are at MyDoRight.com)
