Illegal Dumping Means Trouble

Did you know illegal dumps are crime scenes! It’s true. Illegal dumping of trash, tires, bulky items, electronics, and more is against the law. Plus, dumps affect every community in Pulaski County and are public health hazards. Illegal dumps also decrease property values and discourage economic development. Arkansas law states that folks may report knowledge of illegal dumps.

Here at the Pulaski County Recycling District, we say you SHOULD report illegal dumps. And to make it easier, we’ve established a simple website: ReportDumping.com. At ReportDumping.com, all information is kept strictly confidential. The complaints will be followed up by our Environmental Officer and a remedy will be sought, including a court order or judgment.
